This handy cable helps you put two SLA batteries in parallel to give you a non-stop range of 16 – 20 miles on a charge.

To avoid sparks and protect the batteries from damage, be sure to fully charge the two batteries before connecting them together with the Y-cable. Once connected, the two batteries can be used as “one” and charged while connected.

The Y-cable is not recommended for LiFePO4 batteries because the current capability can create a very dangerous spark and damage the batteries as well.
