Thank you for your interest in RK trailers.
As you have read, stock sold out. Before reordering parts for stock, our personal lives changed, and we decided to look for someone to join the business as an owner/operator. (Personal business story below.) The plan is to bring that person on board, order parts, and share the work load to deliver trailers.
We regret that the right person/party has not been found in time, and production is delayed until a match is found.
Direct translation: trailer delivery date is unknown. The earliest will be the summer of 2019, and that relies on finding the right person in the next few months.
Many of you have signed up for trailers, and we appreciate your interest based on anticipation of delivery.
If you are yearning for an electric boost before next season, we are sorry to let you down, and hope you can find a suitable product to fulfill your desires.

Personal story:
After a long career at Hewlett Packard, Mark started Ridekick in 2010. The business has immense potential and we planned to set up a strong company with a handful of employees that would grow for years.
As with many businesses, the recipe for profitable growth was elusive. Mark and Dee did figure it out and generated profitable growth in 2016 and 2017. The recipe is now clear! But the delayed success also delayed building the self-sustaining team.
It is time to invite someone new into the business so we can phase into retirement. We are happy to continue working to insure the success of the company, but not without a transition plan. That is what precludes our ability to order parts and produce trailers without a new partner.
